Lutron Diva Smart Dimmer Switch

Image
In our owner's suite bath the light switch is on the outside of the door, so walking into a lit bathroom requires exposing the person in bed to bright light. Not a good thing.  The Lutron makes a series of switches that can have small remotes that can be mounted on the wall that also control the light. I believe the product line is called Caseta, and there are several choices of switch styles in the line.    I originally got a very complex switch face version kit through Amazon. The switch face had something like 5 buttons on it, but the darned kit had no switch plate covers included. Kinda stupid. I was worried that the switch face looked too complex and upset that there were no switch plate covers, so I returned the kit.  I went to Home Depot and I found a better kit. Also Lutron, but this style is called 'Diva' I think, and it has a simple paddle switch and a very narrow dimmer slider on the side. I got  the Lutron  "Diva Smart Dimmer Switch 3-Way Kit wi...

Puerco Pibil is the dish Johnny Depp's character orders again and again until he finds the perfect version. Depp explains to Antonio Banderas' character: "It is a slow-roasted pork. It is so good that when I'm finished with it, I'll pay my check, walk straight into the kitchen and shoot the cook. Because that's what I do. I restore the balance to this country." This is a dish well known in Yucatan."Pibil" refers to the Maya method of steaming meats in a pit, a "pib" in the Maya language. This dish is also known as Cochinita Pibil. The difference being that...
